The Sunny Pro 4-Cell Multi-Charger is a compact wall charger designed for standard 1.2V NiMH and NiCd rechargeable batteries.

Despite being marketed as a "Fast Charger," a 150 mA output provides a slow-to-moderate trickle charge rate, which is beneficial for maximizing battery longevity:

Insert 1 to 4 AA or AAA rechargeable batteries into the charging slots. Ensure the positive end (+) and negative end (-) of each battery line up correctly with the markings inside the charger.
Verification: The batteries should sit snugly against the spring contacts without popping out.
Plug the charger directly into a standard wall AC electrical socket.
Verification: The LED indicator lights will turn on (usually red) to show that charging has started for the occupied slots.
Leave the batteries to charge based on their capacity. Because this charger delivers a slow, steady 150mA output, use this general rule:

AAA (800–1000mAh): 6 to 8 hours

AA (2000mAh Eneloop): 14 to 16 hours
Verification: Check an alarm or timer to prevent overcharging, as standard manual chargers will not shut off automatically when complete.
Once the estimated time is up, unplug the charger from the wall socket first, then remove the batteries.
Verification: The batteries should feel slightly warm to the touch (normal after charging), but not hot. They are now ready for use.
Safety & Maintenance Notice
Only charge 1.2V NiMH or NiCd rechargeable batteries. Attempting to charge non-rechargeable alkaline or lithium 1.5V batteries can cause leakage, overheating, or failure. Do not leave the charger plugged in unattended past the recommended charging time.
To calculate the exact charging time for a rechargeable NiMH or NiCd battery using a constant current charger, use the following:
